Delete your account or data
For the Sumeza app and sumeza.com. You don't need a reason.
Last updated: 18 October 2026
How to ask
- On the website: sign in at sumeza.com/account → Profile → Delete your account. It happens at once and signs you out everywhere.
- In the app: open Account (or Profile) → Delete my account / data. You can clear everything stored on your phone straight away, and send us a deletion request from the same screen.
- By email: write to accounts@sumeza.com from the email address you used with us, or tell us the mobile number you used. Subject: "Delete my data".
We confirm within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm a one-time code, so that nobody else can delete your data.
What we delete
- Your Sumeza account (website and app) and its sign-in details: password hash, Google link and sessions.
- Your name, mobile number, email, and the addresses and business location you shared.
- Photos you added, your "I'd try this" taps and notification choices, and your enquiries and reservations that aren't linked to an order.
What we have to keep
Indian law requires us to keep invoices, orders and payment records (GST and the Companies Act, usually 8 years), and the food-safety trace record of every batch we sell. We keep only what those laws need, separately and securely, and delete it when the period ends.
Delivery partners: verification documents are already deleted 30 days after we decide on an application. We keep the result of each check, masked ID numbers, and the payout records the law requires.
