By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery and Cancellation & Refund policies.

2. Products and information

We describe products as accurately as we can: ingredients, allergens, veg / non-veg mark, pack size, shelf life and reheating instructions are shown on the product page when available and are always printed on the pack. If the pack and the website differ, the pack is correct for that batch. Photos are serving suggestions. Country of origin for all products: India.

3. Prices

Prices are in Indian Rupees and include GST. Any delivery fee is shown separately at checkout before you place the order. We check every price on our side when the order arrives; if a price shown was clearly wrong, we will call you before going ahead and you may cancel at no cost.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when we confirm it (usually by a call or message) and dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the pincode turns out not to be serviceable, an item is out of stock, or the order looks fraudulent — and will tell you if we do. Maximum 20 units of any one item per order; for bigger quantities see Sumeza for Business.

5. Payment

Payment is cash on delivery in serviceable pincodes. Please keep the exact amount ready if you can. Online payment will be added on the same checkout; these terms will be updated when it is.

6. Delivery, storage and risk

We deliver frozen to the address you give, in the slot you choose where possible. Please make sure someone is available to receive the order and put it into a freezer at −18 °C or colder straight away. Responsibility for the products passes to you on delivery. Products that have been thawed and refrozen, or stored or cooked other than as the pack says, are not covered by our quality guarantee. Details: Shipping & Delivery.

7. Cancellations, replacements and refunds

See the Cancellation & Refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

8. Using this site

Please don't misuse the site: no automated scraping or form submissions, no attempts to break its security, and nothing unlawful, abusive or misleading in what you send us. Ratings and comments you send may be shown on the site (first name only); we may decline to publish ones that are abusive or not about the product.

The Sumeza name, logo, photos, videos and text on this site belong to us. Please don't reuse them without permission.

9. Liability

We are responsible for supplying products that are safe and as described. Except where the law doesn't allow us to limit it, our liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Complaints, law and courts

Most problems are fixed fastest by contacting us. Formal complaints go to our Grievance Officer. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version on the site when you place an order applies to that order.
