How to serve frozen desserts

Most frozen desserts can be eaten semi-frozen or warmed briefly. Your pack says which works for that dessert.

Follow the time on your pack — times vary by product. These are general steps.

Eat it semi-frozen

  1. Take the dessert out of the freezer.
  2. Let it stand at room temperature for a few minutes until a knife goes in easily.
  3. Serve as it is, or warm it briefly if your pack suggests it.

Microwave

  1. Put the item on a microwave-safe plate, out of any packaging not marked microwave-safe.
  2. Heat in short bursts and check between them.
  3. Let it stand for a minute so the heat evens out.
  4. Follow the time on your pack — times vary by product and by microwave.
